January Subscriber Questions Thread
On Subscribers
For numerous reasons, 2023 is a good time to start recruiting paid subscribers. A sense of scale is important, which is why if you look at the subscribe tab, there is a steep discount on annual subscriptions. To start, these subscriptions will get you access to the in-app chat and allow you to ask questions on this thread. You will also be able to find out about future guests for the podcast earlier and suggest questions for them. There may be other benefits in the future, such as group calls and meetups if there are enough subscribers.
Subscriber Question Threads
In this (and future) monthly threads, subscribers can ask questions. I’ll leave short answers in the replies and much longer answers in a subscriber-only longpost at the end of the month. Hopefully my short answers will encourage more people to subscribe.
General Updates
Expect much more content this year. I will aim for at least one free longpost a week and maybe a second weekly podcast, in addition to the existing weekly podcast and subscriber content. Also, look forward to something interesting related to my machine learning reporting soon.
Brian, I really appreciate all you’ve done in terms of setting up a bunch of interviews with interesting thinkers. You have definitely given me a lot of intellectual food for thought.
